Our entire range of very special pies comes in three sizes

Individual - Too Good to Share
Medium - Perfect for the smaller family (2-3)
Large - A big family meal (4-6)

Please bear in mind most supermarket ‘family pies’ range from 450 to 550gm

Caterers Extra Large Pie - perfect for parties, club catering, restaurants and gastro pubs – 10 good portions

 

  • STEAK & ALE – very distinctively flavoured with big chunks of meltingly tender traditionally aged steak combined with fresh locally produced mushrooms , steeped in Guinness and simmered for two hours.
  • CREAMY CHICKEN & MUSHROOM – another traditional pie but if it ain’t broke why fix it! Whole boneless chicken thighs carefully browned and combined with fresh mushrooms and Brampton’s own creamy sauce designed to surprise and delight .
  • STEAK & STILTON – this wonderful pie is just right for the connoisseurs among you. The same carefully selected beefsteak, combined with a creamy Stilton sauce. Not over powerfully bitter – all in all this could be classed the king of pies.
  • STEAK & CHEDDAR – a recipe borrowed from our antipodean friends who think they know a thing or two about pies. We have to agree though – they are simply delicious and a firm favourite with all our staff.
  • STEAK & ONIONS – absolutely delicious! No minced up mush here – just big chunks of tender beef combined with freshly sautéed onions and rich beef gravy.
  • STEAK & KIDNEY – what can we say – one of our elderly gentleman customers tells us this pie is the best thing he has tasted since the war, coming second only to a pound of ‘under the counter sausages’ proffered to the starving teenager as a reward for helping the local butcher retrieve his van from a ditch.
  • OUR FAMOUS BRAMPTON PIE – we calculate over a million of these hand pies have been sold within the Huntingdon/Brampton area. A very tasty pie indeed with chicken, ham off the bone and sausage all steeped in a creamy sauce.
  • CHICKEN, HAM & LEEK - A family favourite and a brilliant way of getting our children to eat meat and vegetable as well.

Reheating instructions: Preheat oven to 190c gas mark 5 pop in your pie and heat: Individual – 20 to 25 minutes, Medium – 25 to 30 minutes, Large – 35 to 40 minutes. Please ensure you serve your pie piping hot.

All our pies freeze very well . The Individual and Medium sizes may be reheated from from frozen but take about 5 minutes longer. The Large pie is huge and is best defrosted prior to heating.
